Hello everyone, I'm Ryan!

​

I am a passionate production employee in the animation industry. While getting a Bachelor's in Astronomy (CU Boulder) and a BFA in 3D Graphics and Animation (CU Denver), I spent 10 years in design thinking, education, event planning, and the guest services spaces before beginning my journey in the animation industry.

 

With my background as both an artist and a scientist, I have experienced the incredible importance of organizational and communicational skills needed to maneuver large-scale projects. As an organization in collaborative projects is strengthened, so too is the time and energy an artist can use to experiment, create, and grow. I hope that I can be a part of the industry to empower others to see their creative visions come to life!

I currently work for Walt Disney Animation Studios as a Production Assistant. In the past, I have most notably been production manager for my senior thesis short film project as well as a team project coordinator and PI researcher for the Comcast Media and Technology Center, both at the University of Colorado Denver.

Outside of learning the production trade, I am passionate about 3D lighting, character shading, singing, video games, rock climbing, reading, and photography!
